Fish & Ships: Part Two

Young Nyackers painted their impressions of the village. Many painted the river, the mountains, or the Tappan Zee Bridge.

Several works by Nyack artist Theodore Cornu were on display.

It's a very impressive collection of items relating to life in a river village.

Old postcards, photographs, countless displays, and artwork. The Historical Society of The Nyacks has done a fantastic job.

Another great exhibit.

There's also a collection of photos of the building of the Tappan Zee, displays of local fish, the early history of The Nyacks, and much more.

Fish & Ships is a wonderful exhibition. See it this weekend July 11 & 12 (opens at 1pm) Cedar Hill Avenue at Depot Street (Between S. Broadway and Franklin Street)

Most of the summer posts will be blogger automated posts, since squirrel will be out of town a lot. No one will be able to moderate the comments for awhile. Hopefully we'll be back to daily posts in September.
